picassoheadPicassohead - Picassohead is a fun online app that lets you create Pablo Picasso style face paintings which look like they were painted by a real artist. The site is great fun for all ages as they create and can share their creations. Picasso is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and worked in.

Getty GamesGetty Games - Play detail detective, find the matching half of an image, work on jigsaw puzzles, find five differences or simply create your own works of art. This site created by the folks from the Getty Museum puts to test your observation and art skills, and is a lot of fun for younger kids.

 

 

JacksonPollock.org - JacksonPollock.org is a free flash toy that simulates the "action painting" style of American abstract expressionist painter Jackson Pollock. Even if you don’t recognize the name you will likely recognize the gestrual paintings of Jackson Pollock, one of the most important and influential American painters of the last century. You can see an actual example of his work in the image on the left.

Collage Machine1Collage Machine is fun for children of all ages. Click a picture and see what happens, or roll over the question mark and hold down the mouse button to learn how the program works. The AUTO button makes a new arrangement for you each time you click. Use the big green arrows to change picture menus.
